SYNTHIC

Company

We built the GEO tool we could defend.

The answer engines now decide which brands get recommended, and a visibility number you can't open is just an opinion. We wanted the raw answers, the arithmetic in the open, and a product that would rather show an empty state than a guess.

How we build

One rule, five consequences.

Everything in the product follows from a single constraint: all functions and objectives must come from real, live data.

  1. 01

    Real data or nothing

Every number comes from a live engine call, a live crawl of your site, or your own connected accounts. No sample data, no modelled estimate — a test in the codebase fails if one appears.

  2. 02

    Evidence is the product

A score you can't open is an opinion. Every figure in Synthic links to the verbatim answers it was computed from, with model, capture time and latency.

  3. 03

    Official APIs, no scraping

We query engines the way their vendors intend. It costs more per answer and it is the only way to know what the engine actually returned.

  4. 04

    Say so when it's empty

If a provider isn't connected or an engine has too few answers to trust, the page says so. An estimate is the one thing a brand-accuracy product cannot ship.

  5. 05

    Label the future

Planned features are labelled planned, everywhere. The changelog lists only what shipped.

Why the number can be trusted

Built like evidence, not like a score.

Six things that are true of how Synthic is built. Each one is a constraint we chose on purpose, and each one costs us something.

  • Official engine APIs

Every answer is a documented API call to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity or xAI. No scraping, no browser bots, no grey-market access.

  • Verbatim, or nothing

Answers are stored as returned. There is no sample data, no modelled estimate and no placeholder chart — a test in the codebase fails if one appears.

  • Your data stays yours

Row-level security isolates every workspace in Postgres. Keys you bring are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never reach the browser.

  • Honest empty states

If a data source isn't connected or an engine has too few answers to trust, the page says so instead of estimating.

  • Cancel any time

Self-serve plans through Stripe. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades at the end of the period. No annual lock-in.

  • Labelled roadmap

Planned features are marked planned, everywhere. The changelog lists only what shipped, dated by the day it reached production.
